White Cheddar and Spinach Chicken Burgers

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup green onions, chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

4 whole wheat burger buns

Sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and condiments of choice for serving

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.

    Divide the mixture into four equal parts and form them into patties, about ½ inch thick.

      Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, gently place the patties in the skillet.

        Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until they are fully cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

          While the burgers are cooking, you can toast the whole wheat burger buns in a separate skillet or toaster.

            Once the burgers are done, assemble your burger by placing a patty on the bottom half of the bun. Top with sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and your favorite condiments.

              Place the top half of the bun on top, serve immediately, and enjoy your delicious White Cheddar and Spinach Chicken Burgers!
