Instructions

Prepare the Dough:

    - In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Stir until well mixed.

      - Add the warm milk, melted butter, and eggs to the flour mixture. Mix until well combined.

        - Gradually add the remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, until a soft dough forms.

          - Knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic.

            Let the Dough Rise:

              - Place the dough in a greased bowl, covering it with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap. Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

                Prepare the Filling:

                  - In a bowl, toss the diced apples with lemon juice, ground cinnamon, and brown sugar. Set aside.

                    Roll Out the Dough:

                      - Once the dough has risen, punch it down and transfer it to a floured surface. Roll it out into a rectangle about 16x12 inches in size.

                        Assemble the Rolls:

                          - Spread the softened butter over the dough, then evenly sprinkle the apple mixture on top.

                            - Starting from one long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log. Pinch the seam to seal and cut the log into 12 equal pieces.

                              Second Rise:

                                - Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover with a towel, and let them rise for another 30-40 minutes.

                                  Bake the Rolls:

                                    - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown.

                                      Make the Cream Cheese Frosting:

                                        - While the rolls bake, beat together the softened cream cheese and butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth. Add milk to reach desired consistency.

                                          Frost and Serve:

                                            - Once the rolls are out of the oven, let them cool for about 10 minutes before frosting generously with cream cheese frosting.
