Delicious Bruschetta Pasta Salad

Ingredients
  

8 ounces of fusilli pasta

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped

1/4 cup red onion, finely diced

1/2 cup mozzarella balls, halved

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Salt and black pepper to taste

Optional: Freshly grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fusilli pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking. Set aside.

    Prepare the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Adjust seasoning as needed.

      Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cherry tomatoes, basil, red onion, and mozzarella balls. Gently toss to combine.

        Dress the Salad: Drizzle the dressing over the pasta salad and toss gently to coat all ingredients evenly.

          Chill and Serve: Cover the pasta salad and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Serve chilled or at room temperature, topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
