Ingredients

1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into bite-sized cubes

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup cornstarch

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 cup honey

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Vegetable oil, for frying

Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: In a large bowl, season the salmon cubes with salt and pepper. In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Toss the salmon pieces in the flour mixture until well coated.

Make the Honey Garlic Sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer, stirring frequently until slightly thickened, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Fry the Salmon Bites: In a large skillet, heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the coated salmon bites in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the fried bites onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Combine with Sauce: In a large mixing bowl, gently toss the crispy salmon bites in the honey garlic sauce until evenly coated.

Serve: Plate the Honey Garlic Salmon Bites and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately and enjoy!
