Crispy Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap

2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

6 slices of crispy cooked bacon, crumbled

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 large tomato, diced

1/2 cup ranch dressing (store-bought or homemade)

4 large flour tortillas

Cooking oil for frying

Marinate Chicken: Begin by soaking the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator. This will tenderize the chicken and add moisture.

    Prepare the Breading: In a bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

      Bread the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the buttermilk, letting any excess drip off. Dredge each piece in the seasoned flour mixture, ensuring they are well coated.

        Fry the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat about 1/2 inch of cooking oil over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

          Assemble the Wrap: Once the chicken has cooled slightly, slice it into strips. Take a flour tortilla and spread a generous amount of ranch dressing in the center.

            Layer Ingredients: On top of the ranch, add shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, crumbled bacon, and finally the crispy chicken strips.

              Wrap It Up: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top. If desired, you can also grill or toast the wrap in a pan for 1-2 minutes until golden for extra crispiness.

                Serve: Slice the wrap in half diagonally, and serve with extra ranch on the side for dipping.
