Ingredients

8 oz penne pasta

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the diced chicken along with minced garlic. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 6-8 minutes until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Prepare the Broccoli: In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender.

Make the Sauce: Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. Reduce the heat to low, then stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Whisk until the cheese is melted and smooth, about 2-3 minutes.

Combine Ingredients: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, then add the cooked penne pasta. Toss everything together until well coated in the creamy sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash more chicken broth to reach your desired consistency.

Serve: Plate the creamy broccoli and chicken penne, garnishing with fresh parsley for a pop of color. Enjoy!
