Unlike traditional burgers, which are confined to a bun, these bowls provide an open canvas for creativity, making it easier to mix and match ingredients to suit your taste.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (or turkey/plant-based alternative)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

4 cups mixed greens (spinach, arugula, romaine)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup pickles, sliced

1 avocado, diced

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons ketchup

2 tablespoons mustard

Optional: crispy bacon bits, for topping

Instructions

Prepare the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess grease if needed.

Prepare the Base: While the beef is cooking, in a large mixing bowl, layer the mixed greens as the base of your bowl.

Add Fresh Toppings: Once the beef is ready, add the cooked ground beef on top of the mixed greens. Then layer on cherry tomatoes, pickles, diced avocado, shredded cheddar cheese, and sliced red onion.

Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard. Mix well until smooth.

Assemble the Bowls: Drizzle the sauce over the assembled ingredients in the bowls. For an extra crunch, sprinkle crispy bacon bits on top if desired.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve immediately while the beef is still warm and enjoy the fresh flavors in each bite!
